How long is each session?
Sessions are typically 50 minutes or 80 minutes.
How often are appointments?
It is beneficial to meet on a weekly or biweekly basis, at least at the beginning while we are establishing a relationship and working through issues. We can always discuss meeting every few weeks or once a month when we feel it is appropriate for you.
How many sessions do I need?
Everyone’s circumstances are unique to them and the length of time counselling can take to allow you to accomplish your goals depends on your desire for personal development, your commitment, and the factors that are driving you to seek counselling in the first place.
How does it work? What do I have to do in sessions?
Because each person has different issues and goals for counselling, it will be different depending on the individual. I tailor my therapeutic approach to your specific needs.
How long will it take?
Everyone’s circumstances are unique to them and the length of time counselling can take to allow you to accomplish your goals depends on your desire for personal development, your commitment, and the factors that are driving you to seek counselling.
If you are unable to attend a session, please cancel at least 48 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you will be charged for the full rate of the session.
Supporting Document Policy:
Please be informed that there is a fee for completing paperwork, letters, forms, or other documentation. My fee is $150 per hour. Supporting documents typically necessitate a minimum of 15 minutes to complete. Some supplemental forms may require longer to complete and demand additional information beyond my psychotherapy notes. The time required to prepare, send documents, and any other administrative tasks (e.g., preparing consent forms; phone calls relating to the supportive documentation), will be assessed based on a rate of $150, with a minimum fee of $37.5.
